My relationship with Christine was rooted in our shared love of music. Mixtapes, record shows, Record Exchange, record collections, filling up iPods, dance parties, goth clubs, going to concerts, clothing styles… We found unending joy in music. Oftentimes the music was weird, alternative, funny, or downright cheezy. But so were we.

My sister Christine was the most inspirational person in my whole life. It’s safe to say that I am who I am, and have accomplished what I have, because I followed a path that was inspired by her. She was my cool older sister! I can’t even begin to list all of the little things that I credit to her…

Today, December 29, 2020, I lost my big sister, Christine. She succumbed to cancer after a 7 year battle with what started as breast cancer and continued to take different, more aggressive forms over the years.
